Annual LAUNCH High School Entrepreneurship Competition coming up

Chattanooga nonprofit organization LAUNCH is hosting the annual High School Entrepreneurship Competition Dec. 7. Founded in 2010, LAUNCH aims to empower community members through entrepreneurship, job training and mentorship.

Students from Tyner Academy, Howard School, Brainerd High School and the Chattanooga Girls Leadership Academy will be competing for the $10,000 grand prize this year.

"This is my favorite LAUNCH event," LAUNCH communications manager Rebecca Feldbin said via email. "It really amazes me the ideas each year that the students come up with. They are innovative, forward-thinking business ideas that also benefit their community."
