Programs

LAUNCH has two separate tracks for adult and youth participants.

The Business Entrepreneurship Academy

  • Designed for individuals interested in starting their own business or individuals who have already started their own business.
  • Offers an intensive 10-week course focused on the basics of starting a business.
  • Participants will develop a business plan for their business and upon graduation, will have a completed business plan.
  • Also upon graduation, graduates may choose to be partnered with a business mentor and have the option to participate in a monthly round-table forum with their peers.
  • Graduates have access to a variety of free or affordable business services from partners of LAUNCH. These partnerships provide thousands of dollars in resources for graduates as they start their businesses. This is only one of many ways that LAUNCH invests in entrepreneurs that graduate from the Business Entrepreneurship Academy.

High School Entrepreneurship Program

The LAUNCH High School Entrepreneurship program exists to teach business fundamentals to high school students over the course of an academic semester, equipping them to launch and grow successful entrepreneurial ventures.

The program focuses on the ides of market opportunities, viability, feasibility, innovation, and basic concepts required to develop a competent business plan.

At the end of the program, students present and pitch their small business plans at a regional competition, held at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. The winning team is awarded a $10,000 prize package of start-up financing and services to begin their business venture.
